PROJECT +IDENTITY
FAMILY APPROACH IN CHRONIC PHYSICAL DISEASE
The This program is intended for individuals with a diagnosis of chronic physical illness and respective families, to increase the adaptation to the disease and promote family quality of life and physical and psychological well-being. The program features a psychoeducational approach, focused on family models as well as an affective and behavioral dimension, providing strategies to better cope with the disease and overcome the difficulties of everyday life at the individual, family, and health care system levels.
It is crucial to put the disease in its "place" so that it cannot invade the family IDENTITY and therefore, the family may contribute to the normal development of all its members and that is precisely the goal of this program! The program will start in February 2022, at a day and time to be arranged following participants' needs. Participation in this Program is free.
