These studies aim to study individual and family factors in chronic illness and their impact on adaptation to the disease. In addition to psychological variables, these studies also include the contribution of physiological and biochemical variables as well as the assessment of the effectiveness of psychological interventions in terms of therapeutic adherence, cure prognosis, and quality of life.
